This may include curriculum development, development of high-quality learning resources and activities and support ASQA compliance and registration for the Team in preparation to audit. The role contributes to growing the teaching business and anticipates and responds to industry training requirements.As a Lecturer in Early Childhood you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of training and assessment of students in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Early Childhood Education and Care Training Package. You will facilitate competency-based training using a range of delivery modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, and workplace-based.About YouTo be successful, you will require:A recognised relevant qualification equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and CareCurrent qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor) and the ability to obtain competencies in additional core units as requiredDemonstrated experience providing training either within a workplace setting or educational institutionExperience in researching and developing training tools to meet needs of students and/or industry clientsDemonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first languageDemonstrated experience working independently and as part of a teamCompetency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $74,157 to $111,253 per annum.
