The School of Engineering partners with students of diverse backgrounds in their pursuit of a rewarding career in the engineering of electrical, mechanical, computer and communication systems. The School's close association with industry and the industry relevance of its courses ensures high employability of our graduates. In 2024, we commenced delivery of our renewed curriculum with a significant focus on project-based learning and supported self-directed study. The School is seeking an experienced academic to deliver quality teaching to our students within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Discipline.

Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.
Expertise in the preparation and delivery of courses at undergraduate level, including hybrid online-face to face delivery, and the ability to produce high quality program materials.
Competency to undertake a course coordination role.
Demonstrated capability to work effectively with, and to negotiate sensitively with students, especially on issues related to effective learning.
What you'll do:
In this Education Specialist role, you will:
Undertake independent teaching of undergraduate level courses in the Bachelor of Engineering Associate, Technologist and Honours programs.
Write course materials, facilitate workshops and tutorial sessions, design and grade assessments, and implement improvements informed by course evaluation activities and student feedback.
Undertake general course coordination duties.
Adhere to the requirements of UniSQ's Academic Expectations and Development Framework.
What will help you succeed:
Your relevant industry experience will be complemented by your commitment to delivering quality teaching in the area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In addition, you will have:
a PhD or equivalent relevant industry experience.
Proven teaching proficiency and curriculum development and course coordination roles.
Ability to work with external partners, industries and organisations.

Salary: Total remuneration range $64,253 to $75,944 pa (includes salary range of $54,290 to $64,169 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
