About the RoleAre you an experienced professional in the Electrotechnology Industry with a passion for teaching? We are looking for someone with a strong industry background and a commitment to contemporary, inclusive teaching methodologies to provide engaging, high-quality education. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-standard training in the Electrotechnology field, with a particular focus on Commercial, Industrial, Domestic, and Mining sectors. Developing and utilizing a variety of learning resources and teaching methodologies, including blended and online learning through platforms like Moodle. Ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment in both workshops and simulated training settings. Engaging with a diverse student population, including both adult learners and school-age students. The successful applicant will have: Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Electrotechnology. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (40116) and a current Unrestricted Electrical License. Electrical qualifications, minimum Certificate III in Electrical. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, email, and Moodle or similar LMS systems. Knowledge of the UEE11/20 training package, and experience with PLCs and renewables is advantageous. Strong understanding and application of online/e-learning technologies. Highly desirable: Knowledge of PLCs, renewables, and a broad range of experience across different sectors of the Electrotechnology industry. Passion for developing and implementing inclusive and contemporary teaching methodologies.
