WHO YOU AREThe Leasing Agent is a fixed term part time appointment (6 months) and will be responsible for the lease up of a rental only residential development located in Canberra.
Whilst driving leasing outcomes, the Leasing Agent will also provide exceptional customer service throughout the leasing journey.
You are passionate about leasing and delivering an exemplary level of service at every point of the leasing journey for current and prospective residents.
With prior leasing experience in residential property management, you'll need to be proactive and have a strong ability to build rapport in order to nurture and convert leads.
It's important that you're a strong communicator and a natural at fostering great relationships.
You will have strong commercial acumen and demonstrated understanding of state legislation and leasing and renewal process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESYour responsibilities as Leasing Agent will include but not be limited to:
Drive leasing to maximise occupancy.Deliver knowledgeable and effective leasing inspections and group tours, with a focus on conversion.Foster strong relationships with residents to assist renewals.Work in collaboration with the Property Manager to help build the community, resident amenity and partnerships.Maintain the database, including data entry through the CRM tools and PMS.Issue the appropriate documentation to tenants where required in accordance with state legislation.Deliver feedback and advice to the Property Manager after inspections, making recommendations where necessary.What we are looking for:Current ACT Real Estate Registration or Licence to conduct Real Estate business.Demonstrated leasing experience.National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost.Unrestricted work rights in Australia.Availability to work 22.8 hours.Roster is Monday to Saturday, with preferred days Thursday, Friday and Saturday.WHY ESSENCE COMMUNITIESAcross our workforce we have built an enviable culture of trust, engagement, collaboration, and fun.
