About the roleAre you an experienced professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead the management of diverse property assets in one of the world's most vibrant cities? The City of Sydney is undergoing a significant transformational change within Property Services, and we're seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team across our commercial, community, and operational portfolios.
The City manages a unique and diverse range of assets, including heritage-listed commercial buildings, award-winning libraries, and operationally critical depots. Our portfolio includes over 1,500 property interests worth $2.7 billion, covering assets such as building properties, footway agreements, vacant land, and road interests. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the realisation of our Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050 vision by driving high-performance asset management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport our Asset managers in meeting Leasing objectivesDevelop detailed reports to support quarterly analysis of portfolio performanceMaintain registers to ensure leasing data is captured accuratelyDevelop proactive workflows using the City MIS to capture and leverage key lease data.We're looking for someone with:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or a related fieldExtensive experience in management of Leases for Commercial Office, Retail and Mixed-Use propertiesDemonstrated experience in leasing, building asset, facilities management or equivalent workplace experienceDemonstrated experience instructing lawyers on lease related legal workDemonstrated sound understanding of Leasing Legislation and Compliance requirementsThis role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
