THE ROLEResponsible for the efficient coordination of the lease documentation process to support retail leasing and the centre management team.
This includes managing all stages from lease instruction to execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely turnaround of documentation within established deadlines.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of leasing templates and forms for all properties, such as Letters of Offer and Disclosure Statements.Promptly direct solicitors to draft formal lease documents following the Landlord's approval.Develop precise Disclosure Statements in compliance with the Retail Tenancy Act, collaborating with key managers for accuracy.Manage the review process for draft documents with the Leasing Executive and Centre Manager, integrating feedback within set timelines.Handle amendments requested by tenants, consult legal experts on complex matters, and ensure timely delivery of final documents.Monitor lease deposits, bank guarantees, and insurance certificates, facilitating prompt execution and necessary registrations.Obtain fee estimates from solicitors and provide monthly reports on legal costs whilst maintaining outstanding document registers and insurance certificates for compliance.Recommend process improvements and manage leasing data, including tenant setups and quarterly reports on leasing targets.ABOUT YOU Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular, Excel & Outlook.Demonstrated experience in lease administration within the retail property sector.High attention to detail.Excellent written & verbal communication skills.Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritise workload.Knowledge of the Retail Leases Act (desirable).The Benefits: Supportive and collaborative team.Work for a company that likes to give back.Strong systems in place.Corporate events, staff discounts, team massages + much more!To find out more contact Jessica Platt on or email your CV to Please note only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
