The Role We have an exciting part time, 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Lease Administration Manager to manage the timely and accurate management of rent roll, lease contracts and related documents including tenant information and charges in GPT's lease management and billing system.
This is a varied, fast paced role that is a key part of the onsite Melbourne Office Property Management team reporting into the Team Leader, Lease Administration and General Manager. You will partner with both our Office and Logistics leasing businesses and gain exposure across a broad range of tenants, stakeholder groups and complexity of transactions, solidifying your career in commercial property lease administration.
This is a part time, 30 hour a week role which can be done in 4 or spread across 5 days.
What you will be doing Managing the end to end administration of assigned lease contacts, ensuring all documents relating to the property are managed accurately in line with GPT's protocols Preparing and entering systems requests to ensure tenant billings are correct. E.g. Administration/liquidation/receiver, assignment or variation of lease, charge variations (charge/abatement), miscellaneous invoice/credit etc. Working closely with key teams to obtain rent roll information in a timely manner and then managing the rent roll process including scheduling, changes, reporting and leading stakeholder reviews. Completing reconciliations on all accounts and managing the collection of all monthly rentals, ensuring appropriate debt collection, reporting and escalation procedures are in place and are being adhered to. Ensuring all allocation of monies & rent roll generated credits have occurred prior to the issuing of monthly tax statements and investigate payments that do not match billings prior to allocating. Assisting auditors with any queries and retrieving documents for any given asset, as requested. What makes you stand out You would ideally bring foundational experience in a comparable lease administration or a finance related role with the commercial acumen, drive and ambition for commercial property management to thrive in the role.
You will have strong attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to work systematically and independently to achieve strong business outcomes.
The ability to engage and collaboratively work with others, and develop strong relationships will also be key to your success.
This role would suit a Lease Administration professional ready for the next intermediate step in their property management career.
