In this role, you will collaborate with educators across the university to provide development, enhancement, training, and support for our Higher and Vocational Education learning environments and related services.Your responsibilities will include coordinating the review of current learning environments, piloting new delivery modes, and evaluating and developing training resources.
You will play a crucial role in building staff capabilities in utilizing all aspects of our on-site learning spaces.
Additionally, you will provide expert advice and coordination of teaching materials and technologies to enhance face-to-face delivery in alignment with Swinburne's Learning and Teaching strategic goals.The position will report directly to the Manager of Learning Ecosystems and will involve close collaboration with other staff members in the Education Innovation Exchange.
You will engage extensively with academic, VET, and professional staff, as well as manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders.
This role requires considerable judgment, initiative, discretion, innovation, and independence.About YouTo be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:Demonstrated experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS's), learning software and learning equipment used in rooms.Demonstrated commitment to, and experience in, technology enhanced learning and teaching in tertiary education (higher education and/or pathways and vocational education).Ability to train and support academic and teaching staff in the use of the in-room learning hardware and technologies, for use in blended and active learning.Ability to liaise with staff across the University and externally to diagnose issues and support the embedding of technology in learning and teaching.QualificationsRelevant degree and/or relevant experience in the areas of technology enhanced learning.To ApplyPlease submit your CV and cover letter addressing your suitability for this position.
