About the OpportunityShepparton Christian College is looking for a full-time Learning Support Teacher based in Shepparton, VIC. This role involves fostering the learning and development of students with diverse educational needs.
ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, implementing, and reviewing Individual Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with classroom teachers and support staffUsing diverse and effective teaching strategies tailored to students with additional needsLiaising with classroom teachers, families, and therapists to support student learningPreparing lesson materials and planning engaging sessionsProviding meaningful assessment and feedback on student performance and progressMaintaining accurate student records and adhering to school policiesSupporting and engaging in co-curricular activities as neededUpholding Christian values and maintaining a professional standard of teachingParticipating in professional development to stay abreast of best practicesPositions to commence Term 1, 2025 About YouTo be considered, you'll need a recognised teaching qualification and current VIT registration (or the ability to obtain). We're seeking a practising Christian with a strong faith, a collaborative and teachable approach, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
