As part of St Patrick's College's overall commitment to the education of every child, we have developed a strong Diverse Learning Team that provides a range of support and interventions in both the junior and senior years.
Permanent full-time position – Commence Friday 24 January 2025 (or by negotiation) The emphasis for this position is in developing teacher capacity to plan for the teaching of students with a variety of learning needs. You will collaborate with classroom teachers from Year 7 to Year 12 in planning for and delivering well-balanced programs and making suitable adjustments for students with additional learning and support needs. You will have responsibility for some administrative aspects of learning intervention, such as NCCD, disability provisions, and development of personal learning plans. You will be committed to the achievement of excellence, a strong collaborator, and confident in using effective pedagogy and classroom management. You will have your own teaching allocation.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate you satisfy all the following essential selection criteria. Suitably qualified primary teachers with skills in teaching reading, writing, and numeracy are welcome to apply.
