We are looking for an experienced learning support educator to work alongside the Preparatory School's classroom teachers to provide explicit intervention, modify curriculum, keep accurate records, liaise with and report to parents, case manage students and ensure that the learning of all students is supported. High levels of emotional intelligence and reflective practice are crucial for success in this role.
The successful candidate will be an experienced educator with specialist qualifications in inclusive education and a demonstrated track record in the case management of diverse learning needs in the primary context. Experience in the management of regulatory requirements for NCCD students would be considered essential.
Additionally, an understanding and appreciation of the learning styles of boys would be considered an advantage, and as a member of the TSS team, you will be willing to support the stated values and Christian Ethos of the School and must hold or be eligible for Queensland Teacher Registration.
