Learning Support Officer

Part-time (0.8FTE) Fixed-term position (1 year with possibility of extension) Commencing Term 1, 2025 Korowa is seeking a Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our Learning Support team, supporting students with additional learning needs to optimise their learning outcome. The LSO will support the integration of specific students and aids the classroom teacher in the overall integration process. The successful applicant will demonstrate: A commitment to the School's Values; Courage, Curiosity and Integrity The ability to relate to younger children, particularly those with additional needs Excellent communication skills, written and verbal A professional manner with the ability to connect with staff, students and parents A proficiency in the use of digital technologies, particularly with regards to supporting students with learning difficulties A willingness to work collaboratively, as well as autonomously as required A warm and friendly demeanor with a sense of humour All applicants must hold a Working With Children Check clearance and have the right to live and work in Australia.
