About the role: We are seeking a Learning Support Officer to provide support for an exemplary learning environment for students, supporting their learning and wellbeing needs to reach their full potential within St Paul's College.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include: Work collaboratively with teachers, assistants, or allied health staff to implement individual and group programs to support learning and wellbeing student outcomes. Support all programs and school activities including school-wide Positive Behaviour Supports and Interventions, excursions, and school community events. Work effectively with parents, always displaying professional behaviour with an understanding of the issues affecting parents of a child with a disability. Actively participate in all college activities including lunch, recess, staff room duty and special events. Attend to the varying personal and physical needs of students including toileting and meal assistance. Qualifications: Minimum Certificate 3 in Disability Services or Education Support or equivalent relevant qualifications or experience. Current Level Two First Aid qualifications. Current Working with Children Check and current Police Check. Desirable: Some experience working with children with disabilities.
