ABOUT THE COLLEGE Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student's character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds.

THE ROLE This position is full-time for 3-years commencing from the 2025 Academic Year. The primary purpose of this position is to support the implementation of quality, evidence-based teaching and learning practices as well as supporting teachers in the implementation of adjustments for students with a disability and/or learning difficulties.
The Learning Support Coordinator will:
Coordinate the Learning Support staff including managing the ESO learning support timetables to ensure appropriate coverage is in place for certain students. Raise and promote awareness and skill in supporting students with additional learning needs due to disability or giftedness. Liaise with parents, teachers, chaplaincy, leadership, students, external medical and allied health providers in the initial and ongoing identification and support of students with additional learning challenges and extension needs. WHAT YOU BRING Recognised teaching qualification or qualifications and experience with inclusive education for students with a disability and/or learning difficulty. Proven, effective leadership qualities. The ability to coordinate a team in which each member will be valued as a contributor to the success of the College.
