Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12.
We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years.
With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.
The Learning Enhancement and Program Support (LEAPS) Department provides learning enrichment and support for a wide range of students throughout the College.
The team consists of Learning Support Coordinators (LSCs), Learning Support Teachers (LSTs) for both intervention and enrichment), and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).
The department collaborates with parents, teachers and other specialists to form a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting students and their learning needs.
We're seeking a part-time (FTE 0.789) Primary Learning Support Assistant, working 5 days per week (8:45am-3:15pm), at our Wantirna South campus who desires to play a vital role in the creation of an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
Our Learning Support Assistants are an integral part of our school community, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to facilitate their active participation in school and classroom activities.

Applicants are to include a Resume, Letter of Application, Pastoral Reference and complete the screening questions as part of the application process.
Applicants will also need to provide three references.
A Working with Children's Check, and a police check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired.
A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) and Anaphylaxis Certificate are also required prior to starting in the role.
