We currently have several exciting opportunities available for Learning Support Assistants (Secondary) for our Narre Warren South campus. Learning Support Assistants are an integral part of our school community, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to facilitate their active participation in school and classroom activities. Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

The Learning Enhancement and Program Support (LEAPS) Department provides learning enrichment and support for a wide range of students throughout the College. The team consists of Learning Support Coordinators (LSCs), Learning Support Teachers (LSTs for both intervention and enrichment), and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). The department collaborates with parents, teachers and other specialists to form a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting students and their learning needs.

We currently have one 5 day a week (8:45am-3:30pm) role available, as well as a 4 day a week (8:45am-3:30pm) fixed term parental leave replacement role for Term 1 – Term 3, 2025. Please indicate in your cover letter whether you are applying for the 5 day a week role or the 4 day a week (fixed term) role. A Working with Children's Check, and a police check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired. A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) and Anaphylaxis Certificate are also required prior to starting in the role.
