If you're ready to drive meaningful change, bring strong program management skills, and a passion for cultural education, this is a chance to make a lasting impact with the NLC.About the RoleAs the LoC Manager, you will play an important role in driving the development, implementation, and management of this culturally enriching program for secondary Aboriginal students in remote communities.Operating within a phase of consolidated growth, this role aligns program delivery with the strategic objectives of the NLC and the LoC Program, while also ensuring alignment with funding agreements and Indigenous governance arrangements. With a strong focus on Indigenous governance and community involvement, this position will play an essential role in preserving traditions and empowering future generations.What You Will Bring:You will bring a commitment to cultural integrity, experience in program management, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Your background reflects strong strategic planning, team leadership, and resource management skills, along with a keen attention to detail, analytical abilities, and problem-solving expertise. You are skilled in navigating complex challenges with cultural sensitivity, ensuring the delivery of meaningful and culturally relevant learning experiences aligned with the values of Aboriginal land and culture.In addition to this, you will have:Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (Education, Environment, Community Engagement, Community Development) or equivalent lived experienceMinimum of two (2) years leadership experience in program management and delivery and staff supervision.Minimum of five (5) years' relevant practical experience working in program design and delivery.Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to travel remotely via 4wd and light aircraft.A current Working with Children Clearance Notice (Ochre Card) or ability to obtain same is a requirement of this position.What's in it for you?As part of the NLC, you'll enjoy a supportive, inclusive workplace committed to professional growth, cultural respect, and work-life balance.
