Fundraising is vital to ensure Learning Links can reach children and families in disadvantaged communities, empowering them to learn, develop and thrive.
The Role We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Grants Specialist to join our collaborative, motivated, and high-performing team. If you're a passionate fundraiser ready to support growth in Philanthropic and Corporate Trusts and Foundations, and Government Grants, we'd love to hear from you!
As the Grants Specialist, you will:
Craft Winning Applications: Write compelling, competitive grant applications, proposals, and tenders to secure funding. Ensure Compliance: Deliver accurate and timely reporting, ensuring adherence to all funding requirements. Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong connections with funders, providing regular updates on program outcomes and impact. Collaborate: Reporting to the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, work closely with Grants and Reporting Manager, Programs and Marketing teams to deliver on grant-related projects. Maintain Records: Keep detailed and accurate records in Salesforce and GEMS Portal. Identify Opportunities: Research and explore new funding opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline of aligned grants. Stay Ahead: Monitor funding trends and inform innovative fundraising strategies. About You To excel in this role, you will bring:
Minimum 5 years of experience in grant writing and management within the nonprofit sector. Proven success managing and achieving diverse grants portfolios. Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills. Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Salesforce is highly desirable.
