Positions Available Learning Enrichment Teacher – Primary (0.5 FTE)Learning Enrichment Teacher – Secondary Science/Maths (0.4 FTE)About the Roles Inclusion is an integral part of our FCAC philosophy, and our Learning Enrichment Department is a growing, innovative and valued team.
We are seeking two passionate and dedicated Learning Enrichment Teachers to join our Learning Enrichment team.
This role involves demonstrated experience in working with teachers, parents and specialists to support learners in overcoming barriers to education and ensuring all students can achieve success.
Your knowledge and experience of curriculum planning, using the Australian Curriculum V9, UDL and differentiation as well as NCCD, DDA and DSE will be an essential part of this role.
As a Learning Enrichment Teacher you will:
Create a learning environment in which students feel safe to take intellectual risks, feel comfortable to seek assistance and will be encouraged to perform to the best of their abilities.Plan, prepare and deliver teaching and learning programs that meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of individual students.Contribute to the program used for enrichment and support (including IEPs and ICPs) for students deemed to require assistance;Ensure that the school and classroom environments are safe, conducive to learning and promote acceptable behaviour.Provide small group and one-to-one intervention and assessment.Fulfil the accountabilities, organisational and pastoral expectations and duties as represented in the College Role Statement of Teacher.Skills and experience required Demonstrated experience and teaching qualifications.Hold a current QCT Registration.Further study in disability support and/or inclusive education will be highly regarded.Knowledge and understanding of NCCD processes, DDA and DSE.Knowledge and understanding of curriculum planning, using the Australian Curriculum V9, UDL and differentiation.An ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.An ability to deliver differentiated programs and employ a variety of engaging methods to effectively communicate understanding of concepts to all learners.Experience with small group and one-to-one support of students with complex needs.Well-developed classroom management skills with an expectation of high standards from students.Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills.Excellent communication, team building and organisational skills.Fraser Coast Anglican College is an equal opportunity employer and a Child Safe Organisation.
