We are seeking a Learning Enrichment Teacher to work as part of a committed team, to promote and embed an inclusive learning environment accessible to all our students (YR 7 to YR12) across all continuums of the curriculum.
In partnership with the Head of Learning Enrichment, the successful candidate will create a safe and inclusive environment to support students with diverse learning needs, enabling them to achieve their best through targeted and effective learning strategies.
The key responsibilities of the position include: Work closely with classroom teachers, including in-class support, and support staff to implement tailored educational strategies that meet individual student needs. Provide guidance on effective differentiation techniques and inclusive practices.Model, promote and foster a culture of inclusive learning for all students.Develop, implement, and review Individualised Learning Plans for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring targeted support to encourage academic success.Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and external specialists (e.g. speech therapists, psychologists) to ensure a collaborative approach to student support and wellbeing.Assist in the management of the Nationally Consistent Collection Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).What we're looking for: Relevant secondary teaching qualifications with NESA accreditation, preferably in the areas of English, Mathematics or Science;Relevant qualifications in one or more areas related to special education;Knowledge of administration requirements pertaining to National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and NESA Disability Provisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team;Commitment to the ethos of Catholic education of young women.About us St Scholastica's College is a member school of Good Samaritan Education.
