This role can be based in Western Australia (Kewdale in Perth) or in NSW (Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney or Mt Thorley in the Hunter Valley).The key purpose of this role is to support business operations nationally through the effective design, development and execution of learning, development and training programs as well as assurance, governance and compliance management across Australia.Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Plan, manage and develop an emerging L&D program across the BMSA and Otraco businessesAdvise and support the BMSA and Otraco business with learning, development and trainingProvide advice around compliance and operational training needs to meet our business requirements / prioritiesBuild and maintain effective relationships that allow you to design, develop and execute solutions in an environment where other priorities existUndertake yearly training needs analysis to contribute to creation of an enterprise wide L&D StrategyDevelop a range of enterprise based learning solutions in partnership with SMEs from those areas ie; finance, IT, corporate planning, operationsDesign, develop and deliver soft skills programs across the enterpriseSupport the delivery of agreed BMSA and Otraco programs including distributing communications, program management and recording of completed training and competenciesManage the development planning process out of the performance review processSource external training opportunities for employees if requiredUndertake other L&D related activities as directedSupport learning, development and training needs around health and safetyAdministrative Governance of BMSA and Otraco L&D training programsAbout You:Whilst autonomy is important, teamwork is an essential element of the way you workProven experience in learning project management and consultingExperience working in a large operational organisation with a diverse workforceAn appetite to get out to site and to our branches to experience first hand what we do so that we can deliver impactful solutionsCert IV in Training & Assessing is advantageous but not essential5+ years' experience in a similar roleDemonstrated experience with training records management; compliance and auditingAn understanding of RTOs and associated programs, qualifications and governance requirementsProficiency and knowledge of working with various learning management systemsSolutions orientated and able to respond to a rapidly changing environmentRelationship builder who can communicate at all levelsAn understanding of Centres of Excellence and how they can support and drive outcomesWhat we offer:Championing Health Wellness & Safety initiatives for all our employees and visitorsWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture that promotes the skills and insights of all its people irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, ability, age or sexual orientation.The chance to join a dynamic and successful business dedicated to nurturing their people personally and professionally.The flexibility to work sometime from home (we run a hybrid office).Numerous financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits including salary sacrifice options, novated leasing, discounts and support programs.We know teams perform best when they're diverse and every team member feels like they belong and it's our mission to unleash potential in every team.
