Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to develop, implement, deliver, and manage learning and development programs for housing and homelessness services. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.Service Delivery, Housing and Homelessness Services provides a range of services, products, and referrals to offer housing solutions for diverse customer groups.You will be delivering training to department staff and others involved in the delivery of housing products and services in Housing Service Centres.

Yearly salary: $101,576 - $110,402
Fortnightly salary: $3,893.40 - $4,231.70
Job duration: Until 30/03/2025 with possible extension
What you will be doing:Deliver learning and development activities including information sessions, workshops, and training to facilitate effective, consistent, and informative customer service delivery.Design, develop, and review appropriate training and training materials on business systems, policies, and procedures that assist staff to understand and apply their knowledge and training to practical workplace situations.Coordinate the planning, administration, and resources necessary to prepare and deliver learning and development activities within agreed timeframes and to specified outcomes.Evaluate and recommend suitable external training providers and facilitators to deliver training with an emphasis on providing value for money, consistency, and quality outcomes.Provide advice on contemporary training practices and methodologies to senior management and, if appropriate, adapt or modify to suit individual locations and learning needs.Evaluate internal and external learning and development activities and regularly monitor feedback to assist improved training methods and outcomes.Conduct training needs analyses and develop relevant training plans.Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
