The teamThe People and Culture (P&C) team support APRA in cultivating an agile and engaged organisation, partnering with the organisation to deliver high quality people programs that will ensure APRA is fit to meet current and future challenges. You will report in to the Senior Manager, Professional Development, working in an established and well-regarded L&D team.
The roleThe L&D Consultant has responsibility for the design and implementation of key learning and organisational development initiatives across the enterprise and within Divisions, as required, to develop and build capability to meet current and future individual and organisational needs. This role will collaborate with APRA leaders and their teams to design and deliver end-to-end programs and initiatives including capability development, performance coaching, employee engagement, and team development across the organisation.
Key responsibilitiesDelivery of comprehensive L&D programs that address the diverse needs of APRA and support the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives;Proactively build and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders, providing expert advice and facilitating their application of L&D processes to improve capability and engagement;Ensure learning and development solutions support APRA's values and are consistent with APRA'S capability frameworks and learning pathways;Build and implement a fit-for-purpose onboarding plan for all roles, to ensure compliance, skill and knowledge build, engagement and retention;Create engaging, interactive, and effective learning programs and initiatives;Support Graduate and early talent development programs to ensure the relevant program develops, enhances, and fosters an environment for early career individuals to evolve into quality professionals in line with APRA's objectives;End-to-end management of capability development initiatives that incorporate high quality processes and supports the day-to-day operational execution of APRA's learning strategy;Identify and measure learning outcomes linked to performance and business outcomes;Contribute to the continuous improvement and iteration of all learning programs, initiatives and projects;Utilise APRA's LMS platform to support efficient and effective processes that support learning across the organisation.About youProven success in learning and development with experience in contemporary talent development strategy and practice;Experience designing and delivering learning and development programs;Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills;Demonstrated strength in facilitation, consulting, and performance coaching;Project and change management experience;Experience and capability with development tools such as Hogan Leadership Suite, DISC, 360-degree feedback assessments and similar instruments;Ability to draw data insights and make data-informed decisions;Ability to communicate effectively and interact with executive leadership level;Demonstrated credibility working with stakeholders, building trust and influence to achieve outcomes;Ability to establish and maintain sound working relationships with peers, team members and stakeholders in a professional team environment;Ability to navigate dynamic environments to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes;Professional qualifications in Learning, Organisational Development, Business or a related discipline.To work with us, you must be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
