Your role As estara's Learning & Development Consultant, you will work closely with our statewide teams, ensuring all staff are appropriately skilled to deliver the highest quality support to our clients.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for our suite of practical and online learning programs that support team members throughout their employee journey. You will collaborate with our Nursing, Operational, and Quality teams to plan and facilitate meaningful learning experiences around industry best practice, keeping our workers and clients safe. For ongoing improvement, you will lead the evaluation of learning program outcomes, while working alongside our CPO to research and document learning strategies for initiatives that reflect estara's diverse workforce segments.
Your expertise in learning will be key to supporting the development and implementation of our training catalogue and calendar, in conjunction with the Learning & Development Coordinator. Your program design will reflect your deep understanding of industry compliance requirements and NDIS standards. Essential
• Minimum two (2) years working in the disability or aged care sectors
• Knowledge of NDIS worker requirements in relation to Quality Standards and Audit requirements
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
• Practical experience in coordinating learning and development activities for community-based Support Workers and Allied Health professionals
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver interactive face-to-face and online training
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and maintain a high level of customer service
• Ability to work effectively individually and as a member of a team
• Problem-solving and time management skills
• Strong evidence of building collaborative business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Special conditions
• Current South Australian full drivers' licence is essential
• DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check and any relevant Screenings as stipulated by DHS/NDIS with at least 6 months' validity
• Intrastate travel and work outside of normal business hours as required and arranged in advance
