Learning & Development Advisor

Details of the offer

About Us At Splend, we're on a mission to fundamentally change the way people own and operate a vehicle. With a strategic focus on Rideshare, we provide our customers straightforward, no strings attached access to vehicle ownership.
But we aren't just about vehicle ownership; we are also fast-tracking the transition to green mobility, and we are leading the way globally in reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector by transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles.
About the Role As our Learning and Development Advisor, you will join us on a 6-month mat leave contract and be responsible for taking ownership of our L&D platform (Go1) and help to continue bringing it to life, as well as working with the wider People and Culture team to roll out training and onboarding initiatives.
Some of your day to day will look like this: Take ownership of our L&D platform and ensure it is optimised. Translate operating procedures and real-life operational activity into learning material for new and current employees. Build out meaningful orientation training that supports employees in their critical first days. Build connections with each department to understand what training may benefit current and new employees. Collaborate with Leadership and develop L&D strategies that foster individual development and growth. What You'll Bring: Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and development initiatives (experience with Go1 is a bonus!). Experience transferring operating procedures to training material using online authoring tools. Strong expertise in learning management systems and e-learning platforms. Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams. At Splend, we value diversity and inclusion and consider it key to our success. We are dedicated to fostering a workplace where everyone is respected and supported. We celebrate differences in race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, and ability, seeking diverse perspectives to drive us forward.
When you apply, let us know if there are any reasonable adjustments we can make to accommodate you during the interview process.
