We also work to empower individuals, families, and communities to optimise their health.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Learning and Development Advisor will coordinate the development and implementation of education and training activities across Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS), including our trainee programs and professional development and clinical skill maintenance.Working within the Corporate Services team, collaborating with all managers and relevant staff across the organisation to promote, support and drive a culture of self-directed and lifelong learning.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, coordinate and implement the training life cycle - from consultation, planning, budget, and implementation.Design, implement and monitor the centralised online training workflow including training requests, and approvals in line with team budgets and evaluation.Monitor the onboarding process with the team and assist Managers as required.Manage e-learning platform implementation across DDHS and initiate engaging and innovative online training resource development.Assist DDHS in any training-related projects and work collaboratively with other teams.Oversee the implementation of the annual training calendar. Assist with ensuring all accreditations are up to date for all relevant employees.Assist in maintaining up-to-date and accurate advertising and promotion of training/professional development opportunities.Assist in the provision of training reports on outputs and return on investment relating to training activities.Coordinate and support our training programs such as GP Registrar placements, AHP Traineeships and other Student placements.SELECTION CRITERIAEssentialRelevant degree in Learning and Development and/or 3 years' experience in a similar role.Experience and ability to work independently under broad direction and achieve identified objectives and outcomes.Experience in designing and implementing cross-organisational change in their subject matter area and gaining ownership across the organisation.Evidence of ability to apply contemporary educational, training and staff development strategies to a comprehensive primary healthcare environment.Ability to work effectively in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation context, with Aboriginal communities and people.Demonstrated knowledge and use of technologies and materials development that support effective teaching and positive learning outcomes.Effective verbal and written communication ability to engage and influence a range of audiences.The ability to self-manage multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment.Microsoft Office suite skills.DesirablePrevious experience working in a medical clinical context.Certificate IV in Workplace Trainer and Assessor.Exposure to clinical information systems and/or e-learning initiatives.IN RETURN WE OFFER6 weeks annual leave.5 days paid leave during end-of-year shut down (additional to annual leave).Salary packaging up to $15,990 per annum, plus additional packaging options.Career development and training opportunities.For further information please contact - Ademola Ojo-Abegunde | Manager - People And Culture | (08) 8942-5400EMPLOYMENT IS SUBJECT TOWilling to undergo a Police Check.Ability and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).Current driver's licence.Current CPR certificate or the preparedness to gain one within 6 months of commencement.Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) must be submitted.Full rights to work in Australia.
