They currently have an opportunity for a Learning & Development Officer / Administrator to join their global mining & resources client's dynamic Capability Development team on-site in Gladstone.
About the Role You'll be integral to their success, providing crucial administrative support that ensures smooth delivery of learning programs. Your excellent organizational skills and customer-focused mindset will create exceptional experiences for learners and stakeholders alike.
What You'll Do Program ManagementHandle end-to-end event management for training sessions.Create and maintain monthly training calendars.Coordinate with internal/external facilitators.Manage training venue bookings and logistics.Process vendor quotations and purchase orders.Participant SupportDeliver walk-in support services for site team members.Manage pre-work distribution and reminders.Track attendance and handle post-session documentation.Coordinate participant communications.Support coaching and education initiatives.Administrative ExcellenceMaintain accurate data entry for learning transactions.Handle pre and post-session administration.Manage stakeholder communications.Ensure alignment with Company and client quality standards.Monitor and respond to inquiries promptly.What You'll Bring Previous training administration/coordination experience.Exceptional attention to detail.Outstanding communication skills.Strong organizational abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, can-do attitude.Team-oriented mindset.Understanding of business process impacts.Ideally, experience with SAP, Cornerstone, or similar L&D systems.What's on offer: Competitive salary package ($70-80K + super).Convenient location (15-minute drive from Gladstone).Professional development opportunities.Exposure to large-scale L&D initiatives.Supportive team environment.Opportunity to impact the resources sector.Important Notes Own transport required (no public transport to site available).Working hours are 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.12-month fixed term contract.If you're passionate about learning and development and ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
