About the role TAFE SA is seeking a dynamic Learning Designer to lead the creation of innovative, student-centred, and technology-enhanced learning projects within the Centre of Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care. This role is pivotal in shaping high-quality learning experiences for accredited and non-accredited programs, supporting the organisation's commitment to educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging learning content that meets the needs of students and aligns with industry standards.Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design effective blended and online learning solutions.Provide expert advice on learning and assessment strategies, focusing on innovative digital approaches.Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards, including the Standards for RTOs 2015, copyright, and accessibility.Manage project timelines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of learning resources that align with organisational goals.Key Selection Criteria: Significant experience in innovative learning design and the development of student-centred digital learning experiences and resources.Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts in creating learning resources and digital content.Extensive experience in designing assessments and learning resources aligned with competency standards.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating responsibility, initiative, and sound judgment.Strong knowledge and understanding of copyright legislation and compliance requirements.Proven ability to develop digital learning content using a Moodle-based environment or similar learning management system.Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
