3 month contract (commencing January 2025) Brisbane CBD location In the role of Learning Designer, you will work in a project environment, supporting the Project Lead and reporting to the Manager, Talent Development, Talent and Organisational Development, Human Resources Branch.

Role accountabilities Apply contemporary learning and development methodologies to design and develop face to face and blended learning content, including e-learning, that addresses legislative and operational development needs.
Work with subject matter experts to support the development of effective and engaging learning resources.
Manage own continuous learning in current and emerging training practices to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with other learning and development areas across the organisation to ensure consistency and best practice are achieved.
Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Experience using Learning Management Systems including the design and development of e-learning content.
Proven experience, substantial knowledge and skills in the application of Articulate 360 suite and basic multimedia software.
Proven ability to develop, monitor, review and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs and initiatives, including immersive educational experiences, face-to-face and e-learning, High level interpersonal and communication skills, to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders including subject matter experts on design and development of education and training resources.
Skills and experience Be capable of working with competing deadlines Work at a fast pace to meet tight timeframes Experience managing multiple priorities High attention to detail Essential experience in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline and Review.
