This is our promise to the Victorian community and the reason we exist.Full Time, Fixed term to 1 October 2025About the roleThe Learning Design Consultant will design, develop and successfully deliver engaging training solutions for personal injury and disability insurance management development projects and programs. The successful candidate will use their technical and professional expertise within adult education and current eLearning/web design methodologies and technologies to support PIEF's vocational and professional development training programs (online and face-to-face). This includes the delivery of programs via a Learning Management System.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders and the team to design and develop training solutions that respond to the competency needs and directions of the personal injury management sector.Create, edit, review and implement high quality training resources for face to face, blended and online delivery that are engaging, linked to scheme outcomes and comply with ASQA and National Training Package requirements where applicable.Create digital learning assets including but not limited to the creation and editing of photos, images, infographics, video, audio, animations and eLearning assets of varying interactivity levels, incorporating Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) where required.Share and contribute technical / specialist expertise and knowledge with other team members to strengthen overall team capability and performance.Investigate, analyse and recommend opportunities for improvement or change to learning and development programs as a result of legislation introduction or change, new scheme policies, processes and systems, emerging issues or revision of National Training Packages.Manage own and team project plan(s) to ensure learning solutions are delivered on time and within budget.About youExperience (5+ years) and demonstrated ability in the design, delivery and evaluation of competency based and technical training programs within a VET regulated environment.Demonstrated experience in formal instructional design techniques and processes that are based on adult learning principles and practice.Experience using rapid eLearning / authoring tools including (but not limited to) Articulate, RISE, Lectora and Chameleon Creator to develop engaging, creative and fully customisable eLearning assets.Proven experience in working with stakeholder groups to ensure designed training programs and agreed learning strategy aligns with business objectives.Highly developed written, interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of management, staff and external client groups.Excellent project management skills covering the development, planning, managing implementation and evaluation stages of own and team projects.Demonstrated ability to liaise in a professional manner with a range of internal and external clients/stakeholders at various management levels.Highly developed problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills within the learning and development context.Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.QualificationsTertiary qualification in VET.
