As a Learning Design Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing impactful learning solutions that align with our client's strategy. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, colleagues, and vendors/partners to create effective learning products and services. This role requires expertise in instructional design, project management, and stakeholder engagement to enhance learning outcomes and raise workforce capability within the client's Motor Claims division.Key Responsibilities:Learning Design:Utilise our client's learning methodologies, approaches, and tools to design learning solutions.Prepare detailed learning objectives, evaluation strategies, content organisation, and visual elements.Provide best practice advice aligned with business strategy and industry trends.Conduct research to stay updated with best practice learning trends and methodologies.Contribute to process improvement and refinement of templates, methodologies, and systems.Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions using appropriate success measures.Support facilitators in achieving learning outcomes through effective techniques and communications.Review learning solutions created by colleagues and vendors/partners to ensure quality and alignment with our client's requirements.Project Management:Develop and manage detailed plans for each design project, including milestones, resources, and risk assessment.Deliver learning outcomes within agreed scope, cost, time, and quality.Direct and brief internal and external resources involved in the project.Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders to effectively manage project milestones.Manage outsourced instructional design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.Business Relationships:Provide data-driven insights to enhance business relationships and focus.Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, vendors/partners, and colleagues.Influence stakeholders to consider various learning and development methods.Educate and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, escalating issues and risks when necessary.Understand requirements, foster ownership, and support frameworks and solutions.Contribute to cyclical maintenance activities and recommend improvements.Actively participate in our client's learning community to share knowledge and collaborate.Foster a culture of team engagement, enablement, and high performance.What does a successful candidate look like?:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desired).Tertiary qualification in Adult Learning/Education/HR related discipline (desired).Minimum 2 years of Learning and Development experience.Experience in instructional design and blended learning methodologies (desired).Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) (desired).Vendor management and project management experience (desired).Proficiency in eLearning development tools such as Lectora, Captivate (desired).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Consulting and advising skills, both internal and external.Advanced knowledge of word processing, presentation, and instructional design software.Ability to provide holistic HR, communications, change, and learning solutions.Understanding of adult learning management practices.Ready to take the next step in your career as a Learning & Development specialist?
