We are looking for a dynamic Tutoring Specialist to join a not-for-profit organisation to play a critical role in the launch of their new venture in the world of 'Shadow Education'.
12 month fixed term role, with view to go permanent.
Based in Murwillumbah, NSW, 2484.

This role is based at the Murwillumbah campus and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a program designed to deliver inclusive, flexible academic support to students across all educational backgrounds, including home-schooled and mainstream learners.
About the Role The Learning Coordinator will take charge of overseeing and coordinating the tutoring programs.
Working closely with the Learning Manager, you will manage tutoring staff, organise schedules, and ensure high-quality delivery of educational support services.
With a program launch planned for Term 2, 2025 , this position will suit someone ready to get hands-on in the final stages of development.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of tutors Oversee scheduling and coordination of tutoring sessions Deliver tutoring sessions with a focus on Maths and English Engage and support students to achieve their learning goals Implement flexible learning methods to meet diverse student needs Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program success Assist in the development of learning resources and an LMS platform for program delivery Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Primary and/or Secondary Education Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds Experience with NSW Department of Education standards for Years 7-12 Highly Desired Attributes Previous experience in tutoring, coaching, or mentoring (preferably at a secondary level) Residency in the Northern Rivers region Next Steps If you're excited by this opportunity, please submit your current resume, a cover letter, and copies of your relevant qualifications (including transcripts) via the SEEK portal.
