Based in Herston, Brisbane and working in close collaboration with clinicians and other research institutes, QIMR Berghofer is home to more than 600 scientists, students and non-research staff.
About People and Culture: The People & Culture Department is responsible for the Institute's HR Strategy & Development, HR Operations, Payroll, and Safety & Wellbeing. Within People & Culture, the HR Strategy & Development supports the Institute's workforce through the development of people and culture strategies, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, scientific and professional development initiatives.
Role Purpose / Responsibilities: This position will manage the design, development and delivery of contemporary organisational learning and development strategies, policies, projects and initiatives for QIMR Berghofer to promote an inclusive and supportive culture and drive employee engagement through a comprehensive workforce capability strategy.
The main responsibilities are to drive the development and implementation of the Institute's Leadership at all Levels program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering leadership capabilities across the organisation. You will conduct needs assessments and collaborate with key stakeholders. Analysis of key metrics and feedback mechanisms is a key component of this position, as is managing relationships with external vendors, consultants, and training providers to support the delivery of employee engagement and development.
About you: You will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology or a related field as well as demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering organisational learning and development strategies and initiatives. You will bring strong project management skills to the role, which will compliment your ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, honed over time as is your ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Remuneration: Salary range is $127,883 to $137,221 p.a. FTE, plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a permanent appointment. Either full-time or part-time hours will be considered, so part-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
