About the Role This full-time position located at regional Pt Pirie is responsible for providing expert NDIS knowledge, coaching, training, and direction to the Pt Pirie Learning and Experiences staff.
The role has one direct report and a team of staff and clients we support.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Learning and Experiences, this role is also essential in providing strategic and innovative input to assist in the growth of the program.
Other key responsibilities include: Mentor, empower, and coach Support Leaders and Disability Support workers Oversee staff recruitment Run, facilitate, and create person-centred programs Monitor service delivery in compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework Facilitate team meetings and staff development opportunities Continuous improvement, strategic growth Consult with HR to manage and address personnel queries and issues Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high standard of services Complete internal and external reporting About You You will be an experienced manager with a desire to grow and develop your team and program.
You are a charismatic and confident communicator that can build strong rapport with your team, families, and external stakeholders, as these skills are essential to help empower your team to excel, as Bedford Learning and Experiences moves into a period of growth.
You must also be organised and have an ability to multitask, and problem solve in this fast-paced role.
Other knowledge, skills and attributes include: A tertiary degree in Disability, Developmental Education or equivalent Eligibility for membership to Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated Experience in the disability sector and / or community engagement Expert NDIS knowledge People leadership experience For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.
A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old) Driver's licence NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector Evidence of right to work in Australia 100 points of identification What's in it for you?
