It works alongside national and international organisations, contributing to global research, promoting life-long learning, and developing and hosting world-class exhibitions.About the roleThe Learning and Engagement Officer's role is to develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality public programs, experiences, and resources relating to the Western Australian Museum, in particular the Museum of the Great Southern's exhibitions and collections, for a diverse audience including schools.The position assists the development of operational planning, and the training of front-of- house staff, including relevant Volunteers.About youWe are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who is a creative thinker and who wants to make a difference.The successful applicant will be expected to:Develop and deliver creative, innovative, and layered public and school programs, experiences, and interpretation.Develop programs in the context of Museum exhibitions, collections, research, and expertise for a diverse range of audiences.Work with the Regional Manager of the Museum of the Great Southern to develop community links which benefit public and school programs. development, and raise the profile of the WA Museum within the region.Contribute to the development of operational plans, including for future exhibitions, and audience engagement programs.How to applyPlease ensure that you  review the attached Job Description Form (JDF)  for further information about the  work-related requirements (Selection Criteria)  of this position.
