As Learning and Development Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering customized training programs that align with our strategic objectives and meet departmental needs. This is a Fixed Term - Full time role for 6 months (Likely to extend further).
The role reports to the Learning and Development Manager, and will facilitate engaging workshops and training sessions, using varied instructional methods to support diverse learning styles. The Specialist will assess program effectiveness, collaborate with department heads to address skill gaps, manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for easy access to current resources, and integrate new educational tools to continuously enhance learning outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 3-5 years of experience in a training related role with instructional design and delivery experience. Excellent organization and follow-up skills to coordinate program efforts. Strong time management skills with great attention to detail and analytical skills with a high degree of professionalism. Self-starter with an innovative approach to designing solutions. Excellent with MS Office tools, Articulate and storyline or equivalent essential. LMS experience preferably in ELMO or similar platform. Certificate IV in TAFE is essential. Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence. A safe, registered, and suitably insured motor vehicle able to be used for work purposes. Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
