We have a unique opportunity for a suitably qualified Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant to join the team at Portland Aluminium!
Reporting directly to the Senior Learning & Development Consultant, the L&D Consultant will optimise activities to support the business plan and overall efficiency for the location.
In this role, your key duties will be: Providing support in the deployment of standard methodology systems and measures across the location (safety, process, mechanical, business improvement, interpersonal, mobile skills, technical, apprentices and traineeships).
Sharing and implementing best practice processes across the site.
Ensuring that training processes align to Alcoa Operations standards and legislative requirements, and are correctly deployed into the operating areas.
Measuring the health of training within the smelter and facilitating continual improvement in the pursuit of operational excellence.
Designing, developing, and facilitating learning and development programs.
Ensuring continual improvement and achieving consistent high standards at all levels.
Working within a network of L&D Consultants and Training support functions across multiple locations to ensure the Smelter transfers best practice initiatives.
