We're looking for a Learning and Development Business Partner to lead the way in designing and delivering innovative training and development programs that align with our strategic goals and the 70:20:10 learning framework.
Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to optimise organisational performance, ensuring memorable learning experiences.
In this dynamic role, you will: Drive performance and capability growth by partnering with stakeholders and championing People & Culture initiatives.
Research, design, develop and implement engaging learning interventions that meet the needs of our workforce.
Implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions.
Conduct training needs analysis to shape Council's Annual Training Plan and budget.
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and online.
You'll play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation while ensuring learning solutions align with Council's strategic objectives.
About You Hold tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or related field and or equivalent experience.
Significant (5+ years) experience within an adult learning environment.
Demonstrated experience in conducting a thorough skills gap analysis and competency assessments.
Experience in managing a learning management system.
Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning tools.
Demonstrated ability and experience in facilitating training sessions, workshops and webinars using various methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Ability to handle multiple projects, often with conflicting deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
