The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic L&D and Committee Support Specialist to join our team.
This pivotal role will involve coordinating and driving the operation of PMCV's Education Committee, networks, and programs to support prevocational medical training.
You will work closely with the CEO and Medical Director to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality learning and development programs for medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning and Development: Assist in the development of evidence-based training programs, ensuring they align with the revised National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training (NFPMT).
Help design and deliver engaging resources for both face-to-face and online environments.
Secretarial Support: Provide administrative support to the PMCV Education Committee and various networks, including preparing agendas, minutes, and reports, ensuring the smooth operation of meetings and communications.
Reporting and Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency, aligning reports with PMCV's strategic objectives and compliance standards.
Work with stakeholders to evaluate outcomes and inform continuous improvement.
Relationship and Stakeholder Management: Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health services, GP practices, and junior medical officer networks, to promote partnership-based approaches.
Essential:
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with a customer-service and problem-solving focus.
Ability to show initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or a relevant qualification (or a willingness to obtain one).
Highly developed analytical, evaluative, and organisational skills.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desirable:
Understanding of the AMC National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training.
Experience in healthcare and/or tertiary education environments.
Knowledge of junior medical staff education and welfare requirements.
Additional Requirements:
Some travel to metropolitan and regional health services may be required.
A current driver's license is preferable.
