About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time (45 hours per fortnight) Learning and Development Advisor position within a newly established Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Co-Response Service aligned with RAQ's learning and development strategies, located at Cairns. This is a fixed-term position until 25 September 2026. The purpose of this role is to support the facilitation of onboarding and ongoing training requirements specific to Relationship Australia Queensland (RAQ) Limited's Domestic & Family Violence (DFV) Co-response program.
This role will be a strong contributor to the delivery of key learning initiatives for the DFV Co-response program working alongside QPS (Queensland Police Service). This role will be responsible for the delivery of learning for the new program, and the assessment and evaluation of its effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities: Support the instructional design approach for e-Learning, virtual, and face-to-face material. Work with nominated subject matter experts and content owners to identify the target audience's training needs. Liaise with clinical and non-clinical employees in the preparation of learning resources and coordination of end-to-end training needs. Assist in the development and revision of modules and programs, delivered by webinar, e-learning, and face-to-face modalities. Deliver the program-specific training plan, assess competency, and readiness. Collate and analyse training feedback themes and effectiveness of training. Provide training and support to managers and employees regarding the use of the LMS. About You To be successful in this position, you will possess:
Undergraduate qualifications in Psychology or Social Work. Demonstrated experience in workplace training and assessment and learning and development consultation. Theoretical and demonstrated knowledge of developing program-specific training modules. Demonstrated experience in administering a Learning Management System (LMS). Ability to be creative and think outside the box when it comes to developing solutions to suit different learning styles, roles, and functions. Excellent coaching, mentoring, and influencing skills with experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders. Sound knowledge and experience in contemporary organisational development and human resource management with particular emphasis on understanding customer needs, strategy development, problem-solving, and analysis. What We Can Offer You The salary being offered is between $84,426.28 to $90,844.71 per annum pro rata for part-time, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
