About the positionBalance Mayfield Aquatics centre provides a variety of Learn to Swim programs tailored to individual needs, starting from beginners through to competition.
Balance also provides school swimming programs and group bookings.
We have an opportunity for a part time Learn to Swim Team Leader to join our experienced and passionate team.About youThe successful applicant will demonstrate high energy and passion for teaching.
Showing leadership both in the pool and outside of the pool, you will deliver, monitor, and evaluate Learn to Swim and Aquatics programs to ensure program quality that complies with Industry standards.
With a flexible teaching style, you will accommodate students with different learning styles and requirements.
Your strong communication skills will assist you in updating students and parents on progress and building relationships with schools and other external organisations.
You will maintain a Child Safe environment at all times.Certifications required: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, First Aid, CPR (yearly renewal) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).In accordance with the requirement for 'Working with Children', anyone starting employment in child-related work must apply for or hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
