The Glennie School is an Anglican school for girls in Toowoomba, providing an exceptional education for Kindergarten to Year 12 students with boarding from Year 5. About the role: Reporting to the Sports Centre Manager, we are seeking to appoint Learn to Swim Instructors who are enthusiastic team members and are keen to assist children to develop swimming and water safety.
The Learn to Swim Instructor's responsibilities include evaluating each student's performance during swim sessions and providing feedback, completing attendance, progress, and accident reports, and ensuring that all swimming aids and equipment are in good working order.
The Learn to Swim classes are held at our indoor heated pools. From group lessons, casual lessons, to one-on-one private lessons, our programs are suited to infants up to adults of all ages and abilities, all year round.
Rates of Pay: $32.56 - $42.21 (casual) based on experience. Junior rates applicable.
About you: Austswim or Swim Australia Accreditation (Infant and Access Inclusion qualifications would be highly desirable);hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card Blue Card, in accordance with 'No Card, No Start law', as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000;be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment;have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos of Anglican Schools;willing to undertake a variety of tasks and upskill in new areas; andflexible availability and weekend availability are essential.Your Application: Please submit your application including a CV and the names and email addresses of two referees.
