Location ProfileCranbourne East Secondary College (CESC) was established in 2011 and is located in the Hunt Club Estate, adjacent to Cranbourne East Primary School and Marnebek School. The College is approximately 55 kilometers south-east from Melbourne CBD and has a multicultural student body with significant enrolment growth.
The College aims to create a strong sense of community through focus areas including house culture, student voice and agency, and wellbeing.
Selection CriteriaSC1: Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to lead the implementation of school priorities.

RoleThe objective of leading teachers is to improve the skill, knowledge, and performance of the teaching workforce. Leading teachers will be responsible for demonstrating outstanding teaching and coordinating staff to achieve improvements in teaching and learning.
ResponsibilitiesLeading Teachers at Cranbourne East Secondary College will: Be active members of the Leadership Team/School Improvement Teams.Develop an action plan consistent with the College Annual Implementation Plan.Contribute to the Professional Learning Agenda and lead staff in their learning.Monitor and review progress towards goals in the AIP and Strategic Plan.Support their Collegiate Team members in relation to professional learning and data analysis.Mentor and coach teachers to improve teaching practice and student outcomes.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum areas.
