RoleLeading teachers will be highly skilled classroom practitioners and undertake leadership roles commensurate with their salary range. The role of leading teachers is to improve the skill, knowledge and performance of the teaching workforce in a school.
ResponsibilitiesVision:
To lead a Year 9 & 10 curriculum at AHS that is rigorous and optimises the opportunity for student achievement and growth.
Strategic Leadership: Leads the development and documentation of curriculum across Year 9 and Year 10 in alignment with the School Strategic Plan (SSP) Goals.
Responsibilities: Develops and reviews all policy around Victorian Curriculum implementation.
Leads the development of the Auburn Learner Qualities in teaching and learning.
Coordinates the internal Year 9 and Year 10 exam dates.
Oversees course counselling and subject selection for students entering Year 9 & Year 10.
Leads the analysis and reporting of Year 9 and Year 10 achievement data.
Who May Apply Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
