RoleLeading teachers will be highly skilled classroom practitioners and undertake leadership and management roles commensurate with their salary range. They are responsible for coordinating staff to achieve improvements in teaching and learning.
ResponsibilitiesVision:
To lead a Year 9 & 10 curriculum at AHS that is rigorous and optimises the opportunity for student achievement and growth.
Strategic Leadership: Leads the development and documentation of curriculum across Year 9 and Year 10.
Leads the evaluation of curriculum offerings in Year 9-10.
Leads the ongoing evaluation of the Education For Life (E4L) curriculum.
Responsibilities: Develops and reviews all policy around Victorian Curriculum implementation.
Leads the development of the Auburn Learner Qualities in teaching and learning.
Coordinates the internal Year 9 and Year 10 exam dates.
Oversees course counselling and subject selection for students entering Year 9 & Year 10.
Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
