Location ProfileLocated in the Southeast growth corridor, the College opened in 2002. The school now has more than 2,500 students supported by approximately 350 teaching and Education Support staff. The College's Leadership consists of 9 Principal Class Officers and 35 Middle Tier Leaders (LS/LT). There are 40 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in the College and 780+ EAL student enrolments. The school is a welcoming place where students from many cultures learn together in outstanding facilities.
The College is led by a Principal at the AP6 level, supported by a Senior Administrative Team comprising a Manager of Human Resources, Manager of Finance, Manager of IT, and Manager of Facilities. In addition to reflect the Department of Education's move to the Disability Inclusion Process (DIP), the College has appointed two DIP Coordinators at the AP1 level who report directly to the Head of Wellbeing and Inclusion.

Selection CriteriaSC1 Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to lead the implementation of school priorities and teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.

RoleLeading teachers will be highly skilled classroom practitioners and undertake leadership and management roles. They are responsible for improving the skill, knowledge, and performance of the teaching workforce and the curriculum program of a school.
ResponsibilitiesKey roles of leading teachers may include but are not limited to:
Leading whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan.Managing the implementation of improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.Providing professional development and developing individual and team plans for teaching staff.Managing staff performance and development.Developing the school's assessment and reporting policies and practices.Implementing the school's operations and policies related to student welfare and discipline.Contributing to the overall leadership and management of the school.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area(s).
