Location ProfileLocated in the Southeast growth corridor, the College opened in 2002. The school now has more than 2,500 students supported by approximately 350 teaching and Education Support staff. The College's Leadership consists of 9 Principal Class Officers and 35 Middle Tier Leaders (LS/LT). There are 40 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled, with 780+ EAL student enrolments. The school is a welcoming place where students from many cultures learn together in outstanding facilities.
The College is led by a Principal at the AP6 level, supported by a Senior Administrative Team comprising a Manager of Human Resources, Manager of Finance, Manager of IT, and Manager of Facilities. To reflect the Department of Education's move to the Disability Inclusion Process (DIP), the College has appointed two DIP Coordinators established at the AP1 level, reporting directly to the Head of Wellbeing and Inclusion. Furthermore, the College has built an exceptional team of Multi-Cultural Engagement and Inclusion Assistants who work alongside the PCO, Teachers, students, and their families.
The College is categorized as low compared to other State schools in socio-economic terms, with the school family occupation and education (SFOE) index set at 0.583. To support families and their children, the College has a sophisticated Wellbeing Team overseen daily by a Manager (ES) who also reports to the Head of Wellbeing and Inclusion. Our programs are supported by an array of NGO's, Department of Education's Doctors in Schools, Allied Health Services, and Community Programs such as State School Relief and Foodbank. In 2024, the College has partnered with Monash Health, providing a Paediatrician and a Paediatric Fellow onsite weekly.

RoleLeading teachers will be highly skilled classroom practitioners who undertake leadership and management roles commensurate with their salary range. They are responsible for improving the skill, knowledge, and performance of the teaching workforce in a school or group of schools and enhancing the curriculum program.
Typically, leading teachers coordinate staff to achieve improvements in teaching and learning through collaboration, coaching, and professional support.
They lead and manage significant areas within the school independently to ensure the effective development, provision, and evaluation of the school's education program and contribute to policy development relating to teaching and learning.
ResponsibilitiesKey roles of leading teachers may include but are not limited to:
Leading and managing the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and priorities.Leading and managing curriculum planning and delivery strategies.Providing professional development and developing individual and team development plans for teaching staff.Managing staff performance and development.Developing the school's assessment and reporting policies and practices.Implementing policies related to student welfare and discipline.Leading curriculum development in a major learning area.Contributing to the overall leadership and management of the school.Developing and managing the school code of conduct.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
