About the role As Leading Hand (Trade Asset Services) you will be part of the Works and Field Services team working on projects across the city.
You will put your construction and landscape experience to use maintaining parks and completing facility improvements.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Construction, landscape and playground maintenance Conduct inspections, reporting and maintenance of parks, reserves and playgrounds Maintenance of fencing, pathways, shelters, retaining walls, shade sails and outside furniture Operate small plant including kanga, elevated work platform and job truck Have a sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices View the position description for more details about the role.
About you To be successful in this role you will have: Current C Class Driver License (MR Licence would be an advantage) Experience in construction, landscape and playground maintenance Relevant trade certificate would be an advantage Ability to be agile and resilient to adjust to changes at short notice Community focused to deliver quality services for residents and visitors Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (Including drug and alcohol testing).
About the benefits This is a permanent full-time position at LGE Level 5 - 6 with a salary commencing at $65,696 plus 12.5% superannuation.
