About the Client:
Our client is a well-established leader in the Brisbane residential construction industry, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Known for delivering premium homes, they now require a dedicated professional to oversee and coordinate their maintenance activities, ensuring their projects continue to meet the highest standards.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Leading Hand with a solid background in both residential and commercial construction. In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance tasks across various projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Manage day-to-day maintenance activities across multiple sites.
Conduct site inspections to identify maintenance needs and develop action plans.
Prioritise and schedule maintenance work, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to resolve issues and maintain high-quality standards.
Assist in the scheduling and allocation of resources to meet project deadlines.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Identify and address potential maintenance issues before they become significant problems.
Work closely with management to develop and implement maintenance strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within the construction industry.
Strong background in both residential and commercial construction maintenance.
Experience with residential property maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
Hands-on experience with a variety of maintenance tasks.
A proactive attitude with a strong desire to advance into a supervisory role.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
Experience in managing budgets, materials, and subcontractors for maintenance projects.
