Leading Hand/Sub Foreman

My Client is a well-reputed building contractor who has operated for over 20 years in the commercial new build and refurb/fit-out space and is currently seeking a Leading Hand for a Hospitality project in Nowra.They specialize in hospitality, education, and government projects, working on projects up to around $30 million.They are currently seeking a Leading Hand with exposure to commercial projects over $5 million. My Client would also consider experienced Carpenters who are ready to step up into a more supervisory role - this role will still require hands-on work.Duties include:Manage & organize subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out to the highest quality & safety standards.Assist the Site or Project Manager with programming and progress on site.Attend site meetings & liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager & Contract Administrator regarding programming & cost control.Assist the PM by dealing directly with the client and other consultants.Oversee all on-site safety requirements.Requirements:Previous experience in a Leading Hand, Site Foreman, or Supervisory role working on projects over $5 million.Trade qualified carpenter.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Excellent references covering the last 5 years.What you will receive:This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role within a company that can provide an excellent working culture.
